Privacy policy

Folioyard lets you make a page for your work, links, and music. This page explains what we keep, why, and how to remove it. The short version: you can use Folioyard without an account, and then your pages never leave your browser. There are no ads, no analytics, and no tracking.
Without an account
Your pages, settings, and uploaded files are saved in your browser’s own storage (IndexedDB) on your device. They are not sent to us. Clearing your browser’s site data deletes them, so download a backup from Settings if you want to keep a copy.
With an account
Signing in with Google is optional. If you sign in, we keep:
- From Google: your Google account ID, email address, name, and profile picture address. We use these to sign you in and show who you’re signed in as. We don’t get your Google password or access to anything else in your Google account.
- Your pages: the text and settings of each page, and the images, audio, and video you upload, so they sync across your devices.
- A sign-in cookie: one cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days, plus a short-lived cookie used only during Google sign-in. We don’t use cookies for anything else.
Published pages
When you publish a page, it becomes public at its link, along with the files it shows. Anyone with the link can see it, and search engines may list it. Unpublish it from the editor at any time to take it down.
Reports
Every published page has a “report” link. A report stores the page it was about, the text you write, and the time. We don’t record who sent it. We use reports only to review and remove pages that break the terms.
Where it’s stored
Folioyard runs on Cloudflare. Account data is kept in Cloudflare’s database (D1) and files in its storage (R2). Like any web host, Cloudflare handles your IP address and basic request details to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Google handles sign-in under its own privacy policy.
We don’t sell your information, show ads, or share it with anyone else.
Removing your information
Deleting a page in the editor removes it and its files from your account and takes it down if it was published. Signing out ends your session on that device. To delete your whole account, email privacy@folioyard.site from the address you sign in with and we’ll remove everything tied to it.
Children
Folioyard isn’t meant for children under 13, and accounts aren’t for them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update it here and change the date at the top. Questions go to privacy@folioyard.site.
